1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login state, theme, and language) so you don't have to re-enter them every time. Similar technologies — including local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — are covered by this policy.

2. How Rosiovend uses cookies

We use cookies for four purposes — essential platform function, remembering your preferences, anonymised analytics, and customer support. We do not use cookies for advertising targeting or to build profiles for sale.

3. Cookie categories

Every cookie we set falls into one of four categories:

  • Essential — strictly necessary for the platform to function (login, security, consent). Always on; cannot be disabled.
  • Functional — remember your preferences such as theme, language and country.
  • Analytics — anonymised, aggregated usage measurement to improve the platform.
  • Support — power the in-app live chat and help widget.

5. Your choices

When you first visit rosiovend.com, you will see a cookie consent banner with three actions: Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Manage (to choose category by category). Your choice is stored in the rv_cookie_consent value for one year.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, accept only first-party cookies, or delete existing cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies will prevent you from logging in to the Service.

6. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use:

  • Google Analytics 4 — measures visits and feature usage. Configured with IP anonymisation; we do not share with Google for advertising. See policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Intercom — powers our live chat. See intercom.com/legal/privacy.
  • Paystack / Flutterwave — set cookies during checkout to detect fraud. See paystack.com/privacy and flutterwave.com/privacy-policy.

These third parties have their own privacy and cookie policies, which we recommend you review. We have data-processing agreements in place with each.

7. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control

Rosiovend respects the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal sent by some browsers and extensions. When detected, we treat it as an opt-out from non-essential cookies and analytics. Browser-level Do Not Track headers are also honoured.

8. Updates to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect new cookies or changes in regulation. Material changes will be communicated via the cookie consent banner the next time you visit.
